Profile
Book this ArtistVirna Sanzone is acknowledged as one of Australia’s most distinguished jazz and soul artists. She has worked with an impressive list of Australian greats, including Paul Grabowsky, James Morrison, Paul Kelly, Richard Clapton and Wendy Matthews to name a few. Renowned for her passionate delivery and remarkable improvisational approach, she has an extensive track record as a favourite at a wide range of festivals and events such as the Sydney Festival, Stonnington Jazz Festival and Wangaratta Jazz Festival.
Virna is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she now teaches the next generation of jazz singers. Whether performing in duo mode or with a large ensemble, Virna’s band is comprised of Sydney’s finest jazz and soul musicians, guaranteeing a night of high quality music.
