Profile
Scot F. is Australia’s foremost piano vocal entertainer. From his residency at the famous Ritz Carlton Double Bay from 1994, Scot has entertained the cream of the international entertainment industry, including the likes of Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, The Eagles, Andrea Bocelli, John Travolta and Keanu Reeves, along with local stars Kylie Minogue, Russell Crowe, John Farnham and Olivia Newton John, on his way to completing a staggering 1000 nights at the famous Sydney landmark.
Throughout the 90’s, Scot’s all star sing-a-longs around the piano became legendary amongst hotel regulars, who came to expect impromptu post concert jam sessions with the bands of touring superstars like Barbra Streisand, Diamond and Tom Jones.
Scot quickly added recording artist to his list of achievements, enjoying chart success with his song “Please Understand”, which was one of the most played songs on Australian radio in the late 90’s. In the process, he became a regular on national television and completed two successful national tours.
In the years since, Scot has become the entertainer of choice for Australia’s social elite, and for politicians of all persuasions, from Prime Ministers and Governors, to Premiers and an ever growing list of current State and Federal Ministers. Whether it’s a black tie ball for Aussie Home Loans founder John Symond, a private home sing-a-long with Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch, or a Melbourne society bash with Lindsay Fox, Solomon Lew and Deborah Hutton, Scot delivers. He has lent his musical magic to fashions shows by Charlie Brown, shared the piano stool with Jennifer Hawkins in a television tribute to his work, and even opened for the great Luciano Pavarotti on his farewell tour.
In the world of business, Scot’s clients represent a true, “Who’s Who” of Corporate Australia, who spare no expense when featuring Scot in their events. Macquarie Bank has built revolving stages for his performances. Goldman Sachs purpose-built a New York-style piano bar for him. Cunard floated a piano on a barge to Fort Denison so he could serenade guests of the Queen Mary II and Queen Elizabeth II in their spectacular Sydney farewell.
In simple terms, when Australia’s A List want the best, they call Scot.
