For the last 8 years Pia has been setting stages alight with her sophisticated glamour and energetic live shows. Pia plays with a variety of Sydney bands. Most recently her barrelhouse boogie blues trio which plays late 40’s jump blues, swing boogie , stomp blues and jumpin jazz. Featuring The master of the ivories Peter Locke on the Piano , Thomas Wade on the Double Bass and Simon the Senator Bartlett on the slide trombone.

Her other ensembles include 8 piece Cocktail Swing band the ‘ The Cocktail Cabinet’ , 15 piece ‘Black and White Big Band, ‘ 7 piece Jump Blues outfit ‘ The Hollywood Hombres’ and ‘ Miss Pia and the Lonesome Playboys ‘ featuring Eric Rasmussen ( Guitarist for Human Nature , Deni Hines ) and Artie Taylor ( Yeeha Boys , Stuie French ) on Stand up Bass. She also performs regularly with Australian rockabilly legend Pat Capocci and is is currently working on original material for the release of her first solo album.

The combined styles of these groups provide her with the opportunity to utilise her extensive repertoire, performing nostalgic standards, classic rhythm and blues, a touch of soul, something that swings and a whole lot of rock ‘n’ roll.
