    LUKE CUERDEN

SOLO, DUO, BAND, POP, ROCK, FUNK, BLUES

Luke has been living in Japan on and off for the last 3 to 4 years where he did regular recording session work as a guitarist and vocalist for foreign artists and music for commercials. He’s based in Sydney once more where he is one of the industry’s most well known touring guitarist/backing vocalists for many famous Aussie artists.

The list of artists he has played with is long and varied. To name a few:

Shannon Noll, Steve Balbi and Jon Stevens, (Noiseworks), Diesel, Tex Perkins (The Cruel Sea), Mi-Sex, The Chantoozies, Iota, Angry Anderson (Rose Tattoo), John Paul Young, Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon), Sara McCleod (The Superjesus), Mitchell Anderson and Simon Meli (The Voice) and many more.

He’s played all the big venues around the country, including The Palais Melbourne, The Hordern, Enmore Theatre, The State Theatre, (formerly) The Sydney Entertainment Centre and ANZ Stadium. He’s also toured Europe extensively with hard rock band Koritni. He’s appeared on Sunrise, The Today Show, The Footy Show and many others.

Between all that, Luke performs as a solo singer / acoustic guitarist creating a full sound and a beat with just his voice, acoustic guitar and a loop pedal. He’s also a singer/songwriter in his own right, fronting his band Red Dragon Blues and has played literally thousands of covers gigs, with a ton of corporate events mixed in. Luke’s experience is extremely varied and included a stint of six years in Jellybean
