Hi Gary
Kevin was awesome, he really had people raving to us about how good the music was. He also got so many people up dancing who usually never get up to dance and he did it all in such a relaxed natural way when people were ready to dance.Cheers for booking him and all the leg work!

Profile
Kevin Laso is a solo multi-instrumental musician who sings and plays Acoustic steel and nylon string guitar, lap slide guitar, ukulele, and a percussive foot stomp box he invented for accompaniment with a Kick and tambourine on it. He’s available for all types of venues, functions and events!
Kevin has a huge range of covers aside form those listed on this webpage. He is also very keen to please people and will learn songs if required.
In Kevin’s words, here how he describes what he does:
‘Aside from playing people’s favourite classics from songs on my song list I get asked to take requests. If somebody requests a song that I roughly know in my head but never played before, I work it out on the spot for fun and a laugh! The process of me hearing a song in my head and then attempting to translate it to my instruments can be funny and entertaining and when I eventually get it sounding right this usually gets the crowd going! Rather than being a walking Duke box, I prefer to be human and perform every song, be it a cover or an original from my heart! My philosophy is quality not quantity in terms of the amount of covers I play. I love performing and usually play right through without a break for as long as I’m wanted or needed! I find that people like the way I connect to the song. Thi sis because it comes from a genuine place! If this sounds like something you would be interested in being party of please check me out at a gig or book me!
