Eric Rasmussen: from Funk and Soul to Jump Blues this American singer covers a range of music classics both solo acoustic and with his full band ‘Jump To It’.

Eric is pretty much the guy if you want smooth and style. He sings with a voice like honey and has played guitar for countless sessions all over the world. He’s just one of those guys that you’d be luck to get him if you can!

Originally from Los Angeles and one of the founding members of 70′s disco band ‘Heatwave’, Eric now calls Australia home and has done for over 15 years. In that time he has worked with a variety of Australian and overseas stars in shows and tours including Marcia Hines, Human Nature, Ian Moss, Deni Hines and Smokey Robinson to name a few. He performs with a soulful groove with the emphasis on ‘feel’, performing a selection of favorite R&B soul tunes such as: Ain’t No Sunshine, Just the Two of Us, How Sweet It Is, Dock of the Bay, I Can See Clearly Now, Walkin’ the Dog, Under the Boardwalk, Stand By Me and What’s Goin’ On. In addition Eric has performed in a number of musical theatre shows including, ‘Buddy’, ‘Oh What a Night’, Altar Boyz’, Always..Patsy Cline’ and ‘Spring Awakening’. He is regularly in demand for performances with local artists such as Doug Williams, Cavan Te and Craig Calhoun and has frequently performed at corporate promotions for Rolls Royce, Bentley, Porsche and Aston Martin.
