Dj Liche (pronounced Leesh) has had a long standing career in the world of djing, starting out at a time when there were very few female dj’s in the Sydney scene.
Throughout her career Dj Liche has played many different styles of music and held many residencies. Playing styles from House to retro, rnb to hip hop, soul to funk and electro to mash up. This versatile Dj knows how to set the right mood for any type of event.
Dj Liche has played in many locations along Eastern Australia including Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Parramatta, Manly, Castle Hill, Thirroul, Bowral, The Entrance, Mona Vale, Terrigal and Rockhampton.
Highlights in DJ Liche’s career have included The Club Revolution Dj Competition 2005, placing as a finalist and is notably remembered as being the only female entrant. 2009 saw the invitation from Founder DJ D to join Mixxbosses Australia, a crew of Dj’s and MC’s working towards keeping the art of turntablism alive. With this came a role of co-hosting the Mixxbosses Australia Radio Show along with Host DJ D from late September 2009 up until December 2010. Mixbosses is now worldwide with the official Mixxbosses present in The USA, Australia and Germany, with NZ, Malaysia and the UK on the way.
